This tip helped me out a lot. It costs alot to begin with, but pays off for itself in the long run.
Starting with a Great Enchantable Ring or Amulet, enchant it with the "+5% chance to find magical item" jewel in each slot. If the vendor only has one or two of these. Save your game, then reload it, his stocks are usually replenished.
With 6 available slots thats a total of +30% chance to find magical items per ring. Multiply that by 4 rings + 1 amulet and you get +150% chance to find magical items plus whatever other bonuses you have! Later on the the game you can get Legendary Enchantables Rings and Amulets which have even more slots for enchanting.
ps. - I've heard having a high % chance to find magical items also increases the chances you'll see our good friend '???'
