| Description |
If you feed a pet different types of equipment, it becomes stronger in different ways.
Potions- + to HP or MANA and pet grows larger
Staves- INTELLIGENCE and minor amounts of damage and small bonus from other stats on the staff
Warrior weapons - DAMAGE and small bonus from other stats on weapon
Armor - DEFENSE, and small bonus from other stats on armor
Shield - Same as armor
Bows and crossbows - Dexterity and ranged damage and small bonus from other stats on weapon
Rings and Amulets - Small bonus from stats on the ring (I dont recommend using rings its not worth the bonuses)
Recommended items for each type of pet...
Dire wolf - Warrior weapons and armor
ANY ranged pet - Bows and crossbows
Lap dragon and Fire elemental - Combat magic staves and mana potions
Ice elementals and other nature magic classes - Nature magic staves and rejuvination poitons
Any other pets can follow this guide for a much superior pet.
