As any type of warrior, if you looking for a powerful pet to help in multiplayer or single player (mostly multiplayer) you should grab a Dire Wolf as soon as possible. You can get one by talking to the pet merchant in the starting Elf town. Make sure to feed it 2 handed weapons and high defense armor to get a pet that exceeds most warriors in health and damage.
