When you land at the beach, you and Drevin will be directed to the front lines immediately. Check in with Morden Lieutenant Jerind at the tower. Go back inside the transport and open the chest for some goodies. Also, break open the barrels by right clicking on them to get some gloves for your battles.
Jerind will give you a direction to talk to Morden Fighter Tark to learn about fighting. He'll teach you how to use melee weapons. Break down the dummies in front to advance.
After Tark, you'll meet Morden Archer Brammok who'll teach you how to use ranged weapons. Destroy the dummies to procede.
Next, you'll meet Morden Mage Lukrak who will explain how to use magic.
Next you'll meet Morden Warrior Klamek who will tell you how to gain experience. He'll suggest you pick a weapon class and stick with it, or you'll become a weak jack of all trades and won't fare well in the game.
Go up the hill and talk to Morden Lieutenant Kargack to get into the fight. He'll tell you to take the Temple of the Coast, and will open the gate to set you on your way. Your first objective is to destory the bracken shell that is summoned. Simple enough, just attack it.
Drevin has an autocast regeneration spell enabled, so don't worry if you get too low on energy. Continue down the path, killing everything you see. As you procede down the path, you'll receive instructions on the screen on how to use the HUD, you'll also receive lessons in your Journal on how to use the game's features.
You'll eventually come to a Morden Archer Pulk, who will open a gate to a small cave leading to the temple. Continue to follow the path to the temple.
Morden Fighter Fricks will meet you on the other end of the cave. He'll open the last gate and a movie will take you through the end of this chapter. |
